Job Title: Accounts Senior / Client Accountant (AAT Qualified)

Location: Wakefield
Hours: Full time, 38 hours per week (1 day WFH available)
Start Date: From January onwards
Salary: Dependent on experience

Our client are a growing Wakefield accountancy practice looking for an AAT-qualified individual with at least 2 years’ practice experience. This new role offers a varied mix of bookkeeping, VAT, CIS, accounts prep and personal tax work, along with the chance to support and review our Apprentice.

Responsibilities include:

  • Accounts to trial balance, dividends & basic CT provisions
  • Personal tax returns
  • VAT & CIS preparation
  • Bookkeeping for a range of clients
  • Reviewing and supporting Apprentice work
  • Client software training
  • AutoEntry processing
  • Liaising with HMRC

About You:

  • AAT fully qualified
  • 2+ years practice experience
  • Confident with bookkeeping, VAT, CIS, and accounts prep
  • Good communication and ability to work independently
