This established company based in Castleford are recruiting a Sales Administrator

The main purpose of the role is to deal with inbound customer enquires/ sales calls and undertake sales administration tasks whilst providing a high level of customer service. Reporting to the Sales Team Leader the role will involve:

  • Ensuring all customer calls are dealt with in a professional and timely manner to provide a high level of customer service
  • Accurately processing sales orders on Sapman V12
  • Liaising with customers, warehouse, DPD and Expect to progress orders and deliveries
  • Proactively upselling orders where possible
  • Providing quotations to customers
  • Dealing with straight forward technical queries
  • Ad-hoc support to the field sales staff
  • Maintaining strong relationships and dealing with any queries quickly and efficiently.
  • Processing Debits onto our customer service database
  • Following up the debits, arranging collections and gathering information where necessary

We are looking for a dynamic, pro-active, confident and results focussed individual with an excellent telephone manner and strong interpersonal skills. Strong IT skills would also be an advantage.

The role would be ideal for a graduate who is looking to start a career in sales with potential to progress in this family run business.
