Are you looking to gain further experience within accounts? Perhaps you’ve done some ledger work and would like to gain further experience in a growing, forward thinking business with the opportunity to study for the AAT qualification?

If so I am recruiting for a purchase ledger assistant to join a growing finance team for a company in near Pontefract.

Key responsibilities will be as follows:

• Management of incoming accounts emails across all companies, coding, printing/distributing and actioning as appropriate; checking all inboxes a minimum of twice daily
• Process purchase invoices onto Sage 50 system ensuring accuracy of both nominal coding and project coding
• Check and reconcile supplier statements raising queries with supplies as necessary
• Deal will supplier queries on the phone
• File invoices and statements
• Deal with purchase enquiries
• Compile suggested payment lists
• Process staff expenses & petty cash
• Collate receipts and code credit card statements
• Other general administrative duties as required
• Provide cover for colleagues in their absence

Other responsibilities will be as follows:

Some experience in accounts is required however, you will be given full training.
