This is a fantastic opportunity to join a highly successful company based on the outskirts of Wakefield city centre.The position is based with the HR team and you will be responsible for providing HR administration support to facilitate the smooth running of the HR function.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • To ensure consistency of all employee files and documents.
  • Administer the processing of new employees and leavers e.g. issuing Contracts of Employment, obtaining references, setting up new personnel files, responding to reference requests etc.
  • Set up and maintain employee files on to my client’s IT system.
  • Maintain accurate personnel files, documentary and electronic versions, including spreadsheets and databases, ensuring compliance with the Data Protection Act.
  • Scanning, Filing and archiving.
  • Type up audio recordings taken during meetings.
  • Managing The Company uniform stock.
  • Maintenance of the HR notice board.
  • Carry out all other duties requested by the HR Advisor as and when required.
  • Ensure that all HR matters are dealt with in an appropriate, fair, professional and confidential manner.
  • Help deliver and improve a positive health and safety culture awareness by maintaining accurate records of health and safety check sheets and producing statistics/ suggestions for improvement.
