My client is a well-established, growing and very successful business based in the heart of Wakefield.They are currently looking to recruit a bubbly, polite and welcoming Group Administrator/Receptionist to join their fantastic team.

You will be responsible for the overall group administration on behalf of my client and perform all administrative tasks related to this post.

Duties will include:

  • Receiving visitors at the front desk by greeting, welcoming, directing and announcing them appropriately
  • Taking ownership for the visual standards of the entire reception area.
  • Deliver outstanding customer service at all times
  • Answering telephone in a confident, professional manner, directing calls and referring enquiries
  • Maintaining security by following procedures, maintaining visitor records and security passes and providing refreshments
  • Reservation of meeting rooms on an in-house system
  • Co-ordination, ordering and preparation of catering when requested
  • Daily use of MS office applications including MS Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Typing of correspondence
  • Maintenance of the stationary ordering/replenishing
  • Office housekeeping – ensuring all communal areas, kitchen and meeting rooms are presentable
  • Provide cover for admin staff in other teams as and when required
  • Maintenance of the First Aid boxes and monthly check list report
  • Control of outbound post; preparing for weekly collection
  • Purchasing of goods at the request of management
  • Fire Warden Responsibilities (training will be provided)
  • Maintaining and ordering uniform for engineers
  • Managing telephone system changes and setting up conference calls
  • Fleet Management (Dealing with Maintenance, Servicing & Replacement Vehicles)
  • Arrange travel and accommodations for staff
  • Filing and photocopying

Also, from time to time you will be asked to assist in tasks over and above your role and responsibilities.You will be expected to adapt and carry out the task given professionally and efficiently.
