A fantastic opportunity to join this expanding company as an Event Coordinator working as part of a small, busy team.

Ideally you will have gained some business events experience and have knowledge of social media platforms or you will have recently graduated with an events degree. Your role will be to administer, promote and assist with business events.

  • Update CRM system and website with correct events information
  • Manage bookings and keep accurate attendance records
  • Issuing contracts for customers
  • Prepare course branded materials and handouts prior to events
  • Issuing joining instructions to delegates prior to events
  • Keep colleagues updated with booking numbers for events and highlight where more bookings are required
  • Work alongside the marketing manager to promote courses and events through marketing mailers and social media
  • Generate reports and analyse customer feedback from the CRM system
  • Office Administration including answering phone and managing email inbox
  • Keep virtual platform booking spreadsheets up to date with event details
  • Set up GoToWebinar registration pages
  • Liaise with speakers / facilitators to organise technical set up calls prior to events / courses
  • Carry out technical set up calls to ensure facilitators / speakers can access the chosen delivery platform, check connection, check their camera & microphone are clear and they are comfortable with the control panel
  • Manage the running of online events, including explaining housekeep rules to audience and managing delegate Q&A as required
  • Liaise with venues to ensure all booking details are correct and up to date
  • Prepare and courier all event materials including badges
  • Book staff / speaker / facilitator travel and accommodation as required
  • Provide onsite support at events as required
  • Experience & Skills

  • You will have a minimum of 4x GCSE at grade C or above or NVQ level 2
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft office packages; including Microsoft Teams and Microsoft Sharepoint
  • Knowledge of social media platforms and mass mailing platforms
  • Experience in events would be desirable.
  • Experience of working within a busy office environment would be advantageous
  • Experience in managing multiple social media platforms for an organisation is desirable and a knowledge of Adobe packages would be advantageous
  • Organised with the ability to establish, monitor and maintain office systems and processes, with attention to detail
  • Good administrative skills and excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to work individually and as part of a team in a small office
  • Ability to manage own workload and to meet deadlines
  • Excellent IT skills
  • A professional manner and attitude, able to remain calm under pressure, and adapt to change
