This is an exciting opportunity to join a well-established, successful and expanding company based in Halifax. The company has seen some significant growth over the last 2 years and this position is a newly created post and a real testament to their success.

They are looking for an exceptional Customer Relations Manager/Team Leader who can motivate a team to deliver the multiple projects this company has with their clients.

This position sits within a project delivery team so whilst you should be able to provide a consistent and robust provision for clients concentrating on targets, quality and volumes, you must also have an effective management style to motivate and enthuse the team working for you.You will strive for continual improvement of all processes and procedures both externally for your clients and internally for your team.You will have a focus on getting the best out of a diverse team to meet tight deadlines, managing the resource planning and activity delivery across a fluctuating workload.You will lead in the development, delivery and implementation of successful work programmes across: short; medium and long durations, consistently exceeding the key performance indicators and targets.

Predominantly focused on four major areas: clients; customers; installers and the internal team, the role will ensure contracts are delivered to time and budget while mitigating risk and managing and leading a team to enable this. Success will be measured on exceeding relevant KPIs for a range of secured contracts and through the development and growth of individuals on your team.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Effective management of a team of approximately 10 people inspiring them and supporting them in an appropriate style
  • Using management information and trends to assess each team member and identify where skills may be improved and upskilling/training is needed
  • Completing all performance reviews for each team member identifying strengths and weaknesses and working with each individual to make improvements where needed
  • Increase the efficiency and effective delivery of all activity through the development of the team
  • Responsible for the timely progress of activity throughout the customer journey to conclusion
  • Robustly and in a timely manner progress actions through others, to consistently meet key dates
  • Track and manage project tasks which continually exceed targets
  • Own and manage the end to end project delivery process, ensuring delivery with relevant regulations and legislation as well as internal governance and policies
  • Actively involved with the contribution of insights relating to project delivery and policy to ensure my client is at the forefront of knowledge regarding potential new business
  • Maintain a strong professional relationship through excellent communication, building beneficial working relationships with customers, contractors and clients
  • Build and enhance my client’s reputation growing its reach in terms of potential delivery
  • Deliver activity, from resource planning to management reporting, with appropriate attention to risk and budget control.
  • Responsible for continuous service improvement and process developments including maintaining and improving systems, policies and procedures that govern the performance monitoring, development and delivery of activity
  • Carry out other such duties as required from time to time to support business goals

You will be a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual able to initiate and balance competing priorities through effective and efficient work practices.More importantly you should be able to manage and inspire teams to tight delivery requirements across diverse activity and be able to competently demonstrate this at interview.With a good attention to detail you will be able to work with minimal day to day supervision, but know when to ask for help.
