Business Analyst

A fantastic opportunity has arisen with our forward thinking and expanding client based in Elland. They are looking for a full time, permanent business analyst to join their busy yet friendly team.

The duties will include:

  • Work with YES teams to implement and validate appropriate analytics tools against identified performance measurement frameworks.
  • Confer with managers to ensure changes are working.
  • Gather and organise information about the problem to be solved or the procedure to be improved.
  • Analyse data and use the analysis to create compelling evidence-based and actionable information to drive decisions.
  • Inform the iterative design of service reporting to ensure effectiveness, efficiency and accuracy.
  • Make sure data and analysis are of high quality and accuracy across both qualitative and quantitative data.
  • Develop and maintain appropriate and robust records and use this information to manage risks and ensure mitigations are in place as necessary.
  • Use the metrics to Identify new opportunities to further improve effective and efficiency delivery of activity across the business.
  • Source, collect and extract data that is accurate and fit for purpose, working with managers to define reporting requirements for robust governance and transparency.
  • Support others to improve and interpret data to focus on areas of potential improvement across all process life cycles to drive continuous improvement activities.
  • Analyse financial and other data, including revenue, expenditure, delivery and quality reports.
  • Make recommendations to management through presentations or written reports.
  • Practical usage of information systems from a user perspective to optimise delivery and governance.
  • Provide challenge from a digital perspective, working with others to provide collective insights.
  • Develop solutions or alternative practices which may include new systems, procedures, or organisational changes.

Skills and experience required:

  • Prioritise own workload
  • High attention to detail
  • Happy working in an autonomous position
  • Strong excel skills
