Billing Administrator

You must be detail oriented and have a professional approach, flexible attitude, be able to learn quickly and take great pride in completing every task to a high standard.

Key responsibilities:

  • Sales ledger – Daily input of invoices and credit notes
  • Entering data accurately onto computer systems efficiently within agreed timescales.
  • Review data for deficiencies or errors, correct any incompatibilities
  • Research and obtain further information for incomplete documents
  • Creating and maintaining customer account information via SAP
  • Dealing with billing queries
  • Developing and building internal and external relationships to an excellent standard
  • Manage daily tasks, projects and KPI’s allocated by line manager
  • Working with other business areas as required for creating and improving existing processes
  • Responsible for entering meter readings from customers on to the database
  • Maintaining SAP and meter reading email addresses
  • Producing customer account reviews
  • Essential skills:

  • Strong analytical and organisation skills
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy skills
  • Strong background from an office administration based environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
  • Data input/data entry experience essential
  • Ability to multitask, prioritise and manage time efficiently
  • Proactive with ability to take initiative and ownership of problems to find solutions
  • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
  • Confident communicator, mainly via phone and have the ability to deal at a very detailed level of administration. They must also be well organised and methodical, with very good attention to detail
  • Experience of using SAP would be advantageous, but not essential, as training will be provided
