An exciting opportunity to join a well-established, successful and expanding company as a Bid Coordinator has become available. This role is crucial to the future sustainable success of the company and will involve winning new business as well as retaining and expanding existing contracts with a diverse range of clients.

Key responsibilities

  • Responsible for supporting the development and submission of compelling proposals and tender submissions to existing or prospective clients
  • Ensure all the client questions are answered as fully as possible to gain the best possible chance of success
  • Supporting all day-to-day aspects of an individual proposal conception and development, as well as leading on certain elements of the tendering process such as completing standard questionnaires and compliance activities
  • Identify and recommend new business development opportunities by monitoring tendering portals and engaging with new and existing clients
  • Responsible for maintaining bid support documentation
  • Engage with clients throughout the bid development process
  • maintain accurate records and assess the pricing elements of bids to ensure they are robust and credible for the market at the time
  • React quickly to changing circumstances and client communications
  • Support the manager in the handover of all successful projects to the relevant teams
  • Supporting consultancy work, such as the production of reports and presentations.
  • It is essential you are extremely well organised and learn quickly, while able to manage competing priorities. You will have excellent written English skills and an ability to answer questions precisely.

    This position requires a motivated individual, who is able to initiate and balance competing priorities through robust planning of work while also able to really enjoy your working day.
